Welcome to my collection of frequently asked questions (FAQ s). If you have questions not answered below, please reach out and I’ll be happy to respond promptly.
What do I need in order to book my session?
I will need to know when you’d like the shoot to happen, and you should have some idea of the type of shoot you’d like to experience. I’ll also need your contact information so I can communicate with you about your shoot, and provide you the link to your private online gallery. I can help you work out many of the details and let you know exactly how to prepare with helpful guides and a pre-shoot consultation.
Do you work with members of the LGBTQ+ community?
Yes! I celebrate identities, bodies, and families of all shapes and sizes, and I would love to help you celebrate yours!
Do I have to go nude for a boudoir or erotic shoot?
No, you can wear as little or as much as you are comfortable in. My goal is to make sure your brilliance comes through, and I will work with you to make sure you are as comfortable as possible as we capture the amazing images you’re looking for.
What do I wear?
I have helpful style guides to assist you in choosing the right look for your individual shoot. I’m always happy to answer questions and help along the way.
I’m not a model, will you be able to pose me?
Yes, absolutely – that’s what I’m here for! Just try to relax, and let me worry about bringing out your inner star.
I’d love to do a photoshoot, but I’m worried about my appearance. Do you photoshop?
I appreciate every person for exactly who they are, but sometimes we all have things we don’t love about ourselves. I will work with you to choose the right poses, lighting, and editing to highlight your charm and bring out the wonder in you as you are. I want you to LOVE your photos, and upon request I will also do light retouching to help ease those critical voices.
Where are you located?
I am located in Orange County, CA. I serve most of Southern California, including the regions of L.A., Orange County, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego.
I love your work but I can’t get to California. Do you travel?
Yes, absolutely! Contact me to discuss your shoot and we will go over travel requests and schedules.
What happens after my photoshoot experience?
Shortly after your shoot, I will provide you with a link to a private gallery where you can review all the best shots and select the ones you’d like for finishing. Once edits are complete, I will notify you and the final images will be available in the gallery for at least 14 days after delivery for download. Physical media such as a thumb drive with your images on it is also available for an additional charge.
What is depth of field? How will it affect my photos?
The depth of field refers to how much of the final shot will be in focus. With a narrow depth of field, only the main subject (such as your lovely face) will be in focus, while anything in the background or foreground will be blurry. With a deep depth of field, elements in the background and foreground will be sharper and more in focus along with the you. This means capturing more details from your surroundings. If you have a preference for one style or the other, please let me know before your shoot so I can adjust appropriately.
How much will my photoshoot cost?
I have a number of different packages to suit a variety of value points. For those on a very tight budget, ask me about my Mini Monthly session availability, or click here!
How often do you offer bookings for your mini-photoshoots?
Every month, I offer a limited number of Mini Photoshoots, usually on the last Saturday of the month. You can find out more on my Photoshoots & Events page.
What are my payment options?
I accept payments through my booking site, Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle, as well as having payment plans available. Ask me about these options when you book or reach out in advance.
